According to SOPHE’s leadership, Dr. Tran, who joined the College community in 2019, was thoroughly chosen between a national pool of candidates nominated from across the region.

Dr. Tran a short while ago recognized the award at SOPHE’s 2023 Annual Meeting: “The New Age of Civil Rights, Advocacy & Fairness,” in Atlanta, Ga.

Peri Alexander ’23, a wellness sciences key graduating this May possibly, considers Dr. Tran to be 1 of her most valued mentors because becoming a member of the University neighborhood 4 decades in the past.

In addition to mentoring learners throughout many majors at the University, Dr. Tran has also supported early occupation general public health experts across the point out.

Dr. Tran, a school member of the Office of Population Health and fitness and Management in the School of Overall health Sciences, teaches each undergraduate and graduate programs in general public health.
