One hundred thousand nursing personnel are set to go on strike next month, the Royal College of Nursing has confirmed.
The RCN has released the checklist of trusts impacted by the historic action, with 44 out of 219 NHS trusts in England voting in favour of walkouts.
In Wales, workers in six out of seven overall health boards and all 6 trusts in Northern Ireland will also face strike action.
The RCN would not affirm exactly how many workers in just about every trust experienced voted for strike action, having said that workers have until eventually the day of the strike to determine whether or not they not operate and will sign up for the industrial action.
Nursing staff members doing the job outside of hospitals, these kinds of as people in commissioning organisations called integrated treatment boards, have also voted to take motion.
The union is established to hold its to start with strike working day on Thursday, 15 December and its next on Tuesday 20 December.
